Plus image8/18/2023 The S22 Plus produced a dimmer image than the iPhone's, though it still contains plenty of sharp detail. It zooms out a bit further than the Pixel (0.6x versus 0.7x) and actually has more natural colors than the Pixel 6 Pro’s image.Overall, I think the S22’s shot is more inviting and captures the vibe of the scene better.įor this first telephoto sample, we tested the Galaxy S22 Plus against the iPhone 13 Pro Max at both phones' max 3x zoom. Taking another angle of the bridge from earlier, the Galaxy S22 Plus’ ultrawide camera does a pretty good job. The Pixel 6 Pro produced more true-to-life colors, as The Lord of the Rings sign looks much more natural than what you see in the S22’s shot. Right away, you can see the trademark Samsung oversaturation effect in the flower wreath - to the Galaxy S22 Plus’ credit, it’s less pronounced this year. I think the Pixel wins because of the subdued color profile, sharper focus, and a better sense of depth looking down the length of the bridge.įor a second outdoor shot, I took a photo of the decor on my front door. It’s by no means bad, but the Pixel 6 Pro does a better job with more accurate colors. The Galaxy S22 Plus produced a brighter image, though at the cost of some color accuracy (look at the saturation on worn green graffiti). Kicking things off in this photo comparison against the excellent Google Pixel 6 Pro is this shot of a bridge spanning a railway. Still, it looks like it can hold its own check out our Samsung Galaxy S22 vs iPhone 13 Pro Max low-light photography comparison. But in practice, Samsung still struggles with low-light photos that are too yellow with notable white balance problems. In theory, that means better nighttime photos. Samsung says the main sensor is larger this year, so it can let in more light. The main rear sensor is 50MP, with a 12MP ultrawide and the 10MP telephoto joining it. The latter is especially interesting because it offers a true 3x optical zoom versus the Galaxy S21 Plus and its 3x hybrid zoom. Samsung improved the cameras almost across the board - notably the main wide-angle and telephoto shooters. This is the first place where I can safely say that the Galaxy S22 Plus is a true upgrade over its predecessor. Samsung really nails the displays on its phones, and the Galaxy S22 Plus is no exception. Indoors, they’re functionally identical to my eye. When compared side-by-side to the Galaxy S21 Plus, the only truly noticeable difference with the Galaxy S22 Plus screen is the peak brightness outdoors. Vision Booster certainly helps with direct sunlight, something that even the iPhone 13 Pro Max can struggle with. This helps make sure that you can always see the phone’s screen, no matter where you are. The feature uses AI to intelligently scale the brightness and contrast depending on the lighting conditions. Samsung hyped up its new Vision Booster technology, which ties into the Galaxy S22 Plus’ crazy bright display.

Best budget laptop 20228/18/2023 You might be tempted to jump on one of those dirt-cheap gaming laptop deals from Walmart or Best Buy, but it's just not worth it if you're stuck with 8GB of RAM or a tiny SSD.Īs for build quality, expect to find more plastic than metal on budget systems. Modern games need a decent chunk of memory to run, and they also tend to be large, so you wouldn't be able to fit much alongside Windows 11 on a 256B SSD. We'd recommend getting at least 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. Many cheap gaming laptops also skimp on RAM and storage. There are some exceptions though: Dell's G16 (currently discounted to $900) is notable for its 16-inch quad HD+ screen. They're also typically paired with 1080p screens running at 120Hz or beyond. You can expect to find Intel and AMD's latest (but not greatest) CPUs, as well as entry-level GPUs like NVIDIA's RTX 3050. Are budget gaming laptops worth it?īudget gaming laptops are definitely worth it if you’re trying to save money and are being realistic about what you can get at this price range. Be sure to check out our gaming laptop guide for a general overview of what to look out for in these more expensive systems. Still, it's worth keeping an eye out for sales that can push those PCs below $1,000. Stepping up a bit to systems between $1,000 and $2,000 puts you firmly in mid-range territory, which is beyond the scope of this guide. It used to be tough to find a decent gaming option at that price point but, as PC prices have fallen, they no longer seem like unicorns. When it comes to budget models, we're focusing on the other end of the pricing spectrum: laptops under $1,000. A more understated option HP Victus 15.6" Gaming LaptopĪt the high end, you can easily spend $5,000 on a fully tricked-out notebook like the Razer Blade 18.

Insight nasa meaning8/18/2023 Said NASA Planetary Science Division Director Lori Glaze, "It's given us a glimpse of Mars we couldn't get from any other spacecraft in our NASA Mars fleet. InSight is a NASA Discovery Program mission that has placed a single geophysical lander on Mars to study its deep interior. InSight's successful mission has helped scientists map the planet's interior for the first time. It also had a radio sensor that could detect planetary motion, meaning it could collect data on the red planets mass and density. The recent marsquake - the biggest ever detected on another planet - shows the lander is still capable of delivering momentous data even as the finish line is in view. NASAs InSight lander was officially retired late last year. Though the impending close of a mission can be a sad occasion, Banerdt said "there hasn't been too much doom and gloom on the team" because there's still so much work going on with InSight. Once the seismometer goes off, InSight will occasionally snap a picture and communicate with Earth until the power runs too low to continue. InSight will spend some of its energy on tucking its movable arm into a "retirement pose" that'll give its camera a view of the seismometer. A scrubbing whirlwind could extend operations, or a dust storm could shorten them. Unpredictable weather on Mars could change the timeline. Please see the THEMIS Data Citation Note for details on crediting THEMIS images. NASA had hoped a dust devil would come along and clean off the lander's solar panels to help boost its power, but that hasn't happened. Todays VIS image shows a portion of a large unnamed channel located east of Echus Chasma. This will be the first time in the Red Planet’s. When fresh and clean, the panels produced enough power to run an electric oven for an hour and 40 minutes each Martian day. Google sketchup app for android8/18/2023 You can also open models using Androids ‘Open With’ feature, for example when opening. More so, the software does not include any documentation tool. The AutoCAD mobile application allows you to create, edit, and view AutoCAD and Revit files on your phone. Here’s how: Open or download models directly from 3D Warehouse, Trimble Connect and Dropbox. Unfortunately, while you can print the design, you cannot export the view to an image so you can embed it into a webpage or document. Before generating the prints, however, you need to make sure you checked the display and shadow settings to fine-tune the printed elements. If you want to have the designs printed, for presentations or project documentation, you may do so with the SketchUp Viewer. In fact, there are lots of tools that you can find the interface, including the Look Around tool which allows the viewer to examine nearby objects closely. The app is pretty intuitive and flexible and provides many ways for you to view designs. When you browse through the shared 3D model using SketchUp Viewer, you will have the option to slowly walk around the design for you to stimulate the experience of the visitor once the design has come into fruition. I have a model designed in Google SketchUp, I want to be able to show it on my Android device (Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Tab) - is there any way to do that I did try DAE View 3D from Afanche Technologies - but it is not working on the exported dae model and also registers for every intent. SketchUp Viewer can easily pan to a certain area in the design, magnify an object, or rotate the model for the viewer to see all the available angles. (10) Smart phone programming, Android Phone App development and. The viewer app will then allow the users to switch between them by using the tabs or the camera menu.įurthermore, if the designers want to focus more on the model structure, they can enable the wireframe view or set up the design to only display the hidden geometry when shared. (3) Create and deliver PowerPoint Presentation. Export the model from your pc as a google earth compatible model then view using cubits from the app. The designer can specify multiple perspectives, zoom levels, and view angles to let the view easily see the most important aspects of the 3D design. It will be very useful for explaining projects to clients. To share the design, the designer will need to specify the parameters of the design using the SketchUp app.

Simba movie background music8/18/2023 I think it was a very bold choice for him to do that because anyone would have been intimidated by Elton’s legacy and all the things he had done.”Īccording to the producer, Zimmer took Elton John’s music and lyrics and colored them into African-inspired sounds. “He decided early on he could either be intimidated by Elton’s music and just stay close to it or do something that he really felt personally was right for the movie. “Hans had a real decision to make,” Hahn recalls. Zimmer - who went on to win his first Academy Award for The Lion King - had already made a name for himself, but compared to Elton John’s prolific legacy, he was still just starting out. “The entrance of Hans Zimmer into the musical equation was really the turning point that gave us that final sound that the movie has,” says Hahn. Though the composer had acheived critical success with the scores for Rain Man in 1988 and Driving Miss Daisy in 1989, he was chosen for his work on the lower-profile The Power of One, a movie about an English South African boy raised in the middle of apartheid. Then, the production team tapped Zimmer for the project. We’ve been listening to Ladysmith Black Mambazo, the South African vocal groups that had been on the Graceland album and a lot of Soweto kind of South African music.”Įven with the inspiration, Rice and John struggled to find the right sound for the movie. “We had been listening to Graceland, the Paul Simon Album. “They had no sense of Africa or what we wanted to do with the music,” explains Hahn, recounting how the duo researched inspiration for the soundtrack. But while both John and Rice were gifted musicians and songwriters, with hit records and smash musicals to their names, they had a problem cracking the song list. With the musician on board, the team started fine-tuning the movie’s overall sound. “I actually jumped at the chance because I knew that Disney was a class act and I liked the story line and the people immediately,” John says in the notes. “We were terrified at first to even approach him, because we thought he might be extremely busy or difficult to work with,” he says. In The Lion King’s original production notes, executive producer Tom Schumacher recalls the process of getting Elton John involved. He was too busy, Rice thought, and also hadn’t done a film in quite some time. Rice suggested Elton John as a best case, this-would-be-totally-awesome-but-would-Elton-John-even-say-yes scenario, not entirely convinced that the musician would say yes. His next idea was Elton John, which to a degree was also a head scratcher because he hadn’t done a musical before.” There were conflicts - they got a tour or a new album they were working on or something. “It was a real head scratcher for a lot of us,” says Lion King producer Don Hahn. The rest of the production team wasn’t so convinced. Rice had worked with ABBA members Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus on the musical Chess, and pursuing the music for the movie project seemed like a logical progression. In the early stages of deciding the music, composer Tim Rice contacted the Swedish Europop group to possibly do the music for the film. Which is why, at least for some stretch of development, The Lion King was almost an ABBA musical. First pitched in 1988, the tone of the movie was in constant flux in the years leading to release. The movie’s $188 million opening weekend tells us everything about how the film is regarded 25 years later.īut in the early ’90s, during Disney’s Broadway-worthy fairy tale boom, no one working on the original movie had a clue what the The Lion King would look or sound like. With now-iconic characters, a sharp wit, and a memorable soundtrack provided by Elton John, the original Lion King has a legacy that left little room for improvement. This month’s remake of The Lion King knows what it wants to be: the exact thing as the 1994 version, but glossier.

The church hasn't held in-person services since March 2020, but up to about 24,000 people at a time have tuned in online for Todd's sermons. “It’s a big arena and so it’s taken a lot of time and all of that is almost finished and as soon as all the dust settles and we are able to get clearance from the City of Bixby, you better believe we are going to get in here and have some good ol' church.” “We have some beautiful people in the neighborhood behind us that made some complaints about the noise, and we said, you know what, we want to be good neighbors and so we have spent a large number of resources over this pandemic calling in experts who are able to soundproof and bring a level of sound dampening to our arena," Todd says.
